Kitchen Renovation Debris Removal in Plano, TX

A kitchen remodel produces debris in three distinct rounds, and the households that cope best are the ones who book all three rather than waiting for the end.

Three loads, not one

The first round is strip-out: old cabinets, worktops, tile, backer board and whatever was behind them. It is the heaviest load of the project, particularly if the old worktop is granite or quartz.

The second round arrives with the new kitchen. Cabinet packaging, appliance boxes, polystyrene and pallets take up an astonishing amount of space for something that weighs almost nothing — and it lands on a driveway that is already busy.

The third round is finish-out: offcuts, tile spacers, adhesive tubs, protective sheeting and the tail end of everything else. Small, scattered and the reason a garage stays cluttered for a month after the kitchen is technically done.

What each round contains

StageTypical debris
Strip-outBase and wall units, worktops, splashback tile, backer board, old sink and taps, flooring
Appliance swapOld refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave and extraction — heavy, and refrigeration carries a disposal cost
Delivery weekCabinet cartons, appliance packaging, polystyrene, pallets and shrink wrap
Finish-outTimber and trim offcuts, tile offcuts, adhesive tubs, protective film, packaging

Stone worktops are the heavy part

Granite and quartz are dense enough that a single run of worktop outweighs an entire load of cabinetry. They also break in ways that make them awkward to carry safely.

Say what the worktop is at quote stage. It changes how the load is priced and how many people turn up, and it is much better handled in the estimate than on the driveway.

FAQ

Kitchen Renovation Debris Removal in Plano, TX — common questions

Can you take the old appliances at the same time?
Yes, and combining them with the debris is more efficient than a separate booking. Refrigeration carries a disposal cost for refrigerant recovery, which shows in the quote.
How is a granite or quartz worktop priced?
With weight in mind rather than volume alone, because stone is far denser than the rest of the load. Tell us the material and the approximate run length.
Should I book one pickup or several?
For most Plano kitchens, two or three works better: strip-out, then packaging, then a final clear. It costs the same in total and keeps the driveway usable.
Do you take the cabinets if they are still usable?
Yes, and usable cabinetry is worth flagging — where it is in good condition and there is a reuse outlet taking it, that is a better destination than disposal.
