Terms of Service
The terms that apply to using this website and to booking junk removal with Junk Koala Plano.
Last updated 5 September 2026
About this site
junkkoalaplano.com is operated by Junk Koala Plano, the Plano branch of Junk Koala, at 4013-4017 14th St, Ste 205, Plano, TX 75074.
Bookings, quotes, payments and customer accounts are processed by the central Junk Koala platform at https://junkkoala.com. Where you book or pay through this site, the platform's own terms apply to that transaction alongside these.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information and photographs supplied and on the volume the load is expected to occupy in the truck. They are estimates until confirmed on site.
Where the actual load differs materially from what was described — more volume, significantly heavier material, or items requiring dismantling that were not disclosed — the crew will tell you the revised price before loading begins. You are free to decline at that point.
Nothing on this website constitutes a fixed price offer. Content describing typical load sizes is illustrative and is not a price list.
Scheduling
Appointment windows shown in the booking flow reflect genuine remaining capacity at the time of booking. Same-day and next-day availability varies by day and by location within the service area.
Weather, traffic, equipment failure and preceding jobs overrunning can occasionally affect a window. Where that happens you will be contacted as early as possible and offered a revised slot.
What we will and will not remove
We remove what you identify and instruct us to remove. Crews will not enter areas that are unsafe to work in, and will decline where a structure, ladder or floor cannot safely support the work.
- We do not accept hazardous waste, including wet paint, solvents, fuel, oils, pesticides, pool chemicals and aerosols.
- We do not accept asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material, which requires a licensed abatement contractor.
- We do not accept medical or biohazard waste, pressurised cylinders, or loose lithium batteries.
- We do not disconnect gas appliances or hard-wired electrical equipment. These must be isolated by a qualified fitter before the visit.
- We do not provide certified data destruction. Remove or wipe drives before hardware is collected.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own the items being removed, or are authorised to dispose of them. Where a property is a rental, a foreclosure or subject to an eviction, you confirm that any required legal process regarding abandoned property has been completed before the visit.
Please check items before the crew loads them. Once a load has left, recovering a specific item is not realistically possible.
Where access requires a code, a permit, a reserved bay or a booked lift, arranging that is your responsibility. Visits that cannot proceed because access was not available may need to be rescheduled.
Liability
Crews take reasonable care with your property, including protecting carry routes where appropriate. Where damage is caused by our negligence, it will be addressed — report it at the time or as soon as reasonably possible afterwards.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for damage arising from items being in an unsafe condition, or for consequential loss such as missed appointments or deadlines.
Payment and cancellation
Payment is processed through the Junk Koala platform. Cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out during booking and in your account.
Business accounts are invoiced under separately agreed terms.
Website content
Content on this site is provided for information. Guides describing disposal routes, municipal collection rules and legal obligations are general in nature — rules change, and you should confirm current requirements with the relevant authority or with your own professional adviser.
Text, images and branding on this site belong to Junk Koala and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
